When Mercedes launched the 500SL, it was a statement. A no-compromise V8 roadster from an era when engineering came first and costs came second. This stunning 1990 example keeps everything that made the R129 special, while refining the stance and presence to create a car that looks just as good aired out parked up as it does cruising.

Power comes from the legendary 5.0-litre V8, smooth, muscular and dripping with character. It delivers that unmistakable old-school Mercedes soundtrack that suits the SL’s grand touring nature perfectly.

Fully adjustable air suspension supplied and fitted by Rude Benz allows the car to sit low and wide when parked, then rise back up for real-world usability. Rolled arches sit perfectly over the custom 2-piece 19” RB Forged wheels, while brand new upgraded LED rear lights really set this SL apart from regular builds. A brand new SL Shop roof finishes things off, ready for enjoying no matter the weather.
