Boasting a 4.4-second 100-200 km/h, this 900bhp BMW M140i Shadow Edition is definitely not for the faint-hearted. Under the bonnet sits a fully forged B58 engine – Ricky didn’t cut any corners. With the Garrett G35-900 turbo kit pushing this beast to a savage 900+ BHP on high boost, the performance is mind-blowing. A Dorch Stage 2 high pressure fuel pump, upgraded injectors and RK Autowerks inlet manifold all help maximise power delivery, and with well over £50,000 of modifications across the entire build, this car is a true performance machine.
When you put your foot down, the Reflex boost control system kicks in, delivering precise power management. MK Performance has fine-tuned the setup via MHD for optimal performance and responsiveness. And with such an insane 100-200 km/h time, this is hypercar-humbling acceleration in a hot hatch.
Power is transferred to the wheels through an upgraded ZF HP70 gearbox, fine-tuned with XHP software and an upgraded transmission cooler, ensuring smooth, relentless performance. The Birds handling package, Quaife limited-slip differential, and Bilstein B16 suspension provide flawless control.
The Maxton front splitter, Zaero side skirts, and rear diffuser enhance the car’s aggressive stance, while the carbon fibre M2CS bonnet, M3-style mirrors, and upgraded rear spoiler give it a true one-of-one look. Inside, the Shadow Edition gloss black trims and upgraded carbon fibre elements finish off the cabin, while the Alcantara LED digital steering wheel adds to the experience. There’s also the Harman Kardon sound system for when you don’t want to listen to that fully forged B58 sing.
